Its unique smoky tobacco and peppery flavors play nicely off the seductive hints of herbs, spices and violets. The smooth, full-bodied nature of this wine makes it a house favorite! Pairs well with cheese with an earthy and grassy element like Chevre (goat cheese), aged Gouda or Gorgonzola. Also, veal and pork dishes or slow cooked stews prepared with sage or rosemary.
